The desktop edition runs the same deterministic engine as the web product, locally. There is no upload, no account, and no network call — which is what makes it usable inside an institution that cannot send a model out.

The download is not open yet

No desktop build has been published yet. The installer is prepared but is not yet code-signed, and an unsigned download is blocked by Windows SmartScreen — so it is not offered here until it is signed. If you need the desktop edition now, request a commercial licence and we will arrange delivery directly.

How you get it

Four steps, and only the last one involves us.

Step 1

Download the trial

One installer, per-user, no administrator rights required. It installs to your own profile.

Step 2

Run 5 audits over 3 days

The trial starts itself on first launch — there is nothing to activate and no key to enter. Full functionality, full reports, no watermark.

Step 3

Request a commercial licence

Tell us how many licences and which deployment model. We prepare a quotation — start here.

Step 4

Activate offline

We issue a signed licence token. You import it into the application. No activation call is ever made — see below.

Offline activation

The desktop edition ships no network client at all. That is a deliberate trade: it means online activation is unavailable, and it means an air-gapped institution can run this product without an exception being written for it.

  1. Export a request. The application writes an activation_request.json containing a hash of the machine fingerprint. Nothing about any workbook is included, and the fingerprint's components stay on the machine.
  2. Send it to us. Email it with your licence reference. On an air-gapped network this is the only step that crosses the boundary, and it is a small text file you can inspect first.
  3. Import the token. We return a signed licence.token. You import it in the application's licence screen. Every launch after that verifies it locally, forever.

Enterprise pre-seeding

For a managed rollout, the licence token can be delivered by machine policy through the MSI, so no user ever sees an activation screen. Ask for this when you request your licence.

What you need

  • — Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
  • — No administrator rights (per-user install); an MSI is available for managed deployment
  • — No Excel installation required. Word is used for PDF conversion when present; without it, reports are produced as DOCX
  • — No network access, at install time or afterwards

Terms that apply

Installing OXXON AUDIT accepts the Desktop End User Licence Agreement and starts the Desktop Trial, which runs under the Evaluation Licence Agreement — three days or five completed audits, whichever comes first. A credit is spent only when a run completes and a package is written; a cancelled or failed run costs nothing.
