OXL-16
Acceptable Use Policy
Version 1.0 · Issued 4 August 2026 · OXXON Advisors Pvt. Ltd.
Legal review recommended
Notice. Prepared from the implemented platform. Not legal advice. Review by qualified legal counsel is recommended before publication.
1. Scope
This Policy governs use of:
- the OXXON website, including the Knowledge Centre and the licensing portal;
- OXXON AUDIT, in its Windows desktop edition and its website check;
- OXXON VERIFY;
- OXXON FAST.
It applies to every user — under a Desktop Trial, under a Commercial Licence, and to free website use — and forms part of OXL-02 Website Terms of Use, OXL-03 Desktop End User Licence Agreement, OXL-04 Evaluation Licence Agreement and OXL-05 Commercial Licence Agreement.
2. Principle
OXXON products are institutional tools for examining the structural mechanics of financial models. Use them for that, honestly, on material you are entitled to submit, within the entitlement you hold.
The rest of this Policy states what that means, so that neither party is left inferring it.
3. Lawful and authorised use
You must not use any OXXON product:
- in breach of any applicable law or regulation;
- in breach of OXL-15 Export & Sanctions Statement;
- to further fraud, market abuse, money laundering, tax evasion, or the concealment of any of them;
- to infringe any third party's intellectual property, confidentiality or privacy rights; or
- to process material you are not entitled to disclose to OXXON.
On item 5, note the distinction between products. The desktop edition of OXXON AUDIT processes locally and transmits nothing, so a model that may not leave your environment may be audited there. The website-delivered products process uploads on OXXON servers, and uploading is a disclosure. See OXL-11 Security & Privacy Statement Section 1.
4. Licence integrity
You must not:
- exceed the number of Seats or the scope your entitlement permits;
- share a Licence File, an order key or an account with anyone outside your licensed organisation;
- circumvent, reset, tamper with or defeat the trial state, the trial counters, the machine binding, the licence signature verification, or the update signature verification;
- forge, alter or attempt to construct a licence token;
- run concurrent installations to obtain more completed audits than your entitlement permits;
- create multiple email addresses, or use an address you do not control, to obtain more than one free evaluation run of OXXON VERIFY; or
- create multiple accounts to circumvent any limit applying to OXXON FAST.
Circumventing a trial limit is a breach of this Policy whether or not it is technically possible. OXXON states openly in OXL-04 that the trial mechanism is tamper-resistant rather than tamper-proof; that candour is not an invitation.
5. Platform integrity
You must not:
- probe, scan or test the vulnerability of any OXXON system without prior written authorisation from OXXON;
- breach, or attempt to breach, any authentication or access control;
- interfere with service to any other user, including by denial-of-service or by deliberately resource-exhausting submissions;
- circumvent rate limits, upload limits, admission policies or size limits;
- upload material containing malware, or content designed to exploit the application or its parsers;
- use automated means to access the website, other than a well-behaved
indexing crawler observing
robots.txt; or - scrape, systematically extract, or bulk-download the Knowledge Centre or any substantial part of the site.
Reporting a vulnerability is welcome and is not a breach of this Section, provided testing is confined to your own account and data and is reported to partners@oxxonadvisors.com before disclosure. OXL-11 Section 12 applies.
6. Competitive and derivative use
You must not use any OXXON product, its output or its documentation:
- to develop, or assist in developing, a competing product or service;
- to reconstruct, infer or reproduce the rule library, the scoring methodology, the weighting basis or the report structure;
- as training data, or as an evaluation corpus, for a machine learning model; or
- to publish a benchmark or comparative evaluation, without OXXON's prior written consent.
7. Representation of output
Output is a statement about the structural mechanics of a workbook. How it may be described is a matter of accuracy, not of marketing preference.
You must not represent, or permit any person to represent, that OXXON output is:
- an audit opinion, or any part of a regulated assurance engagement;
- investment, legal, accounting or tax advice;
- validation of a model's commercial, market or modelling assumptions;
- a statement that a transaction is sound, or that a model is correct; or
- an endorsement, certification or approval by OXXON of any transaction, entity, security or counterparty.
You must not:
- alter, remove or obscure any report reference, fingerprint, provenance statement, version identifier or scope statement carried by output;
- present output selectively so as to misrepresent the result, including by removing the scope and limitations statements that accompany it;
- present output produced during a Desktop Trial to any third party, or rely on it externally — see OXL-04 Section 4; or
- attribute to OXXON any conclusion OXXON has not drawn.
OXL-17 Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability states the scope of the
products in full, as does the published page at /trust/limitations.
8. Content you submit
You must not submit to any OXXON product, or to OXXON personnel, any material that is unlawful, that infringes a third party's rights, or that you are not entitled to disclose.
Free-text fields on the licensing portal and in correspondence should not be used to transmit special categories of personal data, credentials, or confidential information beyond what is necessary for the request.
9. Enforcement
Where OXXON reasonably believes this Policy has been breached, OXXON may:
- request an explanation and require remediation;
- suspend access to website-delivered products;
- decline to issue or renew a Licence File;
- terminate a Commercial Licence under OXL-05 Section 17.2, or an Evaluation Licence under OXL-04 Section 8;
- take such steps as are necessary to protect its systems and other users; and
- report a matter to law enforcement or a regulator where required or appropriate.
OXXON will act proportionately, and will ordinarily give notice and an opportunity to remedy, except where the breach is serious, deliberate, or presents an immediate risk to its systems or to other users.
Enforcement under this Policy does not affect any report, findings dataset or Technical Manifest a customer has already produced, which remain the customer's property in all circumstances.
10. Reporting
Report suspected misuse to partners@oxxonadvisors.com.
11. Changes
OXXON may amend this Policy. The version and issue date at the head of the document identify the current text.
12. Governing law
This Policy is governed by the laws of India. Section 12 of OXL-02 Website Terms of Use governs jurisdiction for website use, and Section 19 of OXL-05 Commercial Licence Agreement for licensed use.
