Copyright & Intellectual Property Notice
Version 1.0 · Issued 4 August 2026 · OXXON Advisors Pvt. Ltd.
Legal review recommended
Notice. Prepared from the implemented platform. Not legal advice. Trade mark availability, registration strategy and enforcement are jurisdiction-dependent and require review by qualified counsel.
1. Copyright
© 2026 OXXON Advisors Pvt. Ltd. All rights reserved.
Copyright subsists in the OXXON platform and everything published under it, including:
- the source code of OXXON AUDIT, OXXON VERIFY and OXXON FAST;
- the audit and verification engines, and the rule libraries they execute;
- the scoring methodology and its published basis;
- the report templates, block library and rendering pipeline;
- the Technical Manifest schema;
- the OXXON website, its design system, and its written content;
- the Knowledge Centre and every article, guide, glossary entry and case study within it;
- product documentation, specifications and this document set.
2. Trade marks
OXXON, OXXON AUDIT, OXXON VERIFY and OXXON FAST, together with the OXXON name, logo and get-up, are trade marks of OXXON Advisors Pvt. Ltd.
They may not be used without prior written permission, save for accurate nominative reference — describing OXXON's products by name, as a customer, commentator or journalist may fairly do.
Trade mark registration status by jurisdiction requires confirmation, and a
filing strategy for the target markets should be settled with qualified counsel
before public launch. This is recorded as an outstanding item in
PUBLIC_LAUNCH_LEGAL_READINESS.md.
Third-party names appearing in OXXON materials — including Microsoft, Windows and Excel — are the trade marks of their respective owners and are used for identification only. No affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement is implied or claimed.
3. Software is licensed, not sold
OXXON software is licensed, not sold. A customer acquires a right to use it, on the terms of OXL-03 Desktop End User Licence Agreement, OXL-04 Evaluation Licence Agreement or OXL-05 Commercial Licence Agreement, as applicable.
No ownership right in the software passes to any customer under any circumstance.
4. Customer ownership of output
A customer owns the output of its own use of OXXON software.
Reports, findings datasets and Technical Manifests produced by a customer's licensed use belong to that customer. The customer may:
- use them for any internal purpose;
- provide them to its clients, counterparties, professional advisers, auditors and regulators; and
- retain them indefinitely, including after the licence ends.
No further permission is required and no payment arises.
The customer must not remove or alter any report reference, fingerprint, provenance statement, version identifier or scope statement that output carries. Those identifiers are what make a report checkable, and altering them misrepresents its provenance.
A customer's financial models remain the customer's property in all circumstances. OXXON claims no right in them and, for the desktop edition, never receives them.
5. Third-party components
OXXON software incorporates independently licensed third-party components. Each remains the property of its authors and is used under its own licence. OXL-14 Third-party Software Notices lists them.
The Qt libraries and PySide6 bindings shipped with OXXON AUDIT for Windows are used under the GNU Lesser General Public Licence v3. They are dynamically linked and shipped as separate, unmodified library files, so a recipient may replace them with compatible versions. Corresponding source is identified in OXL-14.
Nothing in any third-party licence grants any right in the OXXON audit engine, rule packs, scoring methodology, report templates or Knowledge Centre. Those are proprietary to OXXON.
6. The Knowledge Centre
The Knowledge Centre is published for reading. It may be read, linked to, and quoted from with attribution in the ordinary course of commentary, teaching, research or review.
It may not be reproduced in bulk, systematically extracted, scraped for the purpose of building a derivative corpus, republished, resold, or used as training data for a machine learning model, without OXXON's prior written consent.
7. Reuse and design sources
OXXON's platform draws on internal design work and reference implementations developed by OXXON. Every such source is OXXON's own; no third-party code has been incorporated other than the components listed in OXL-14 under their stated licences.
8. Infringement
OXXON reserves all rights not expressly granted.
Claims of infringement by OXXON material, and reports of infringement of OXXON's rights, should be addressed to partners@oxxonadvisors.com with sufficient particulars to identify the material and the right asserted.
A takedown and counter-notice procedure meeting the requirements of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules in India, and of equivalent regimes in other markets, should be settled with qualified counsel before public launch.
9. Governing law
This Notice is governed by the laws of India. Section 12 of OXL-02 Website Terms of Use governs jurisdiction for website matters, and Section 19 of OXL-05 Commercial Licence Agreement for licensed use.
